Young Entrepreneur Summit, 2019

It was an honor to get a chance and present my project in front of the audience 

My teammates and I were delighted when we came to know that we are participating at Young Entrepreneur Summit to represent our project SenseBOT at Cumilla, where the chief guest is Honorable Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni MP and the host is the Mayor of Cumilla City Corporation Mr. Monirul Haque Sakku. 

This memorable time came true on April 28, 2019 at Town Hall Auditorium, Cumilla. It was a two-day long program where plenty of students from different Universities in Bangladesh presented their projects which were selected by the authority.

Dr. Dipu Moni MP was the chief guest of the program. Hundreds of participants, 50 speakers and trainers joined the summit to encourage the young entrepreneurs, students and professionals for developing the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bangladesh.

As I was the Leader of my team, I had to represent my project SenseBOT in front of the audience. I introduced my project, described how my project is contributing to the healthcare system of my country. I also described the functionality of the device along with mobile application and showed how it works. After my speech, there was a question and answer session where I answered many questions from the curious audience.

After the presentation session from all the teams, the authority praised my team and titled our project as 'Tremendous' and one of the best for our brilliant work. Beside that, I also received a big applause from the audience for my splendid presentation. However, there was no special prizes or certifications for the best projects and no prize giving ceremony as well.

We stayed one night and two days there and explored some beautiful and historical places of Cumilla. It was really a memorable occasion for all of us. Those moments will be remembered forever.

UNYSAB Diplomatic Assembly

About

UNYSAB Diplomatic Assembly is an academic simulation of the United Nations with a view to educating the participants about effective communication, globalization and multilateral diplomacy organized by United Nations Youth & Students Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB). 

UNYSAB believes Model UN is a tool of developing skills of youth where a participant, known as a delegate needs to research, debate, negotiate and contributes to draft a resolution.

Keeping in mind that the dedication of youth can indeed bring a global change in the future, UNYSAB Diplomatic Assembly is going to be a platform for the students to explore their ideas regarding global issues.

অনেকের মনেই একটা ভুল ধারনা হলো সেন্টমার্টিনস যাওয়া অনেকের খরচের বিষয়। বিশেষ করে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ছেলেমেয়েরা ট্যুর দিতে গেলে তাদের মাথায় সব থেকে বেশি আসে খরচের চিন্তা। কেউ কেউ এমনও ধারনা করে যে এখানে ২ রাত থাকতে গেলেই বাজেট ১০ হাজার টাকা লেগে যায়। যা পুরোপুরি ভুল ধারনা। আগে থেকে একটু ধারনা নিয়ে সেখানে গেলে ৪-৫ হাজার টাকাতেই ভালভাবে ঘুরে আসা যায়।

আমি এখানে ২ রাত ৩ দিনের ট্যুর বিস্তারিত উল্লেখ করার চেষ্টা করবো। এখানে ঢাকা থেকে সরাসরি সেন্টমার্টিনস এবং সেন্টমার্টিনস থেকে ঢাকা আসা যাওয়া সহ সব খরচ  বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করা হবে। কেউ এরই মধ্যে কক্সবাজারও ঘুরতে চাইলে খরচ এবং প্ল্যানিং কিঞ্চিৎ এদিক সেদিক হতে পারে।

প্ল্যানিংঃ 

ঢাকা থেকে সরাসরি টেকনাফ যাওয়ার জন্য অনেক বাস আছে। যেমন সেন্টমার্টিনস পরিবহন, হানিফ, সৌদিয়া, রয়েল কোচ ইত্যাদি। বেশিরভাগ বাসে ভাড়া ৯০০ টাকা। টেকনাফ নেমে সেখান থেকেই উঠতে হবে জাহাজে। এই জাহাজের টিকেট আগে থেকেই কেটে রাখা উত্তম। সেক্ষেত্রে রিল্যাক্সে থাকা যায়। ঢাকার জিগাতলাতে কেয়ারি প্লাজায় "কেয়ারি সিন্দাবাদ" নামক জাহাজের টিকেট কেটে নেয়া যায়।  ভাড়া আপ-ডাউন ৭৫০ টাকা (সিজন অনুযায়ী কম বেশি হতে পারে)। তাই আগেভাগেই সেখান থেকে জাহাজ টিকেট বুক করে নিতে পারবো আমরা।

রাতে রওনা দিয়ে ভোরে পৌছাবো টেকনাফ। টেকনাফ থেকে জাহাজে উঠে সেন্টমার্টিনস পৌছাবো সকাল ১১ টা থেকে দুপুর ১২ টার মধ্যেই। এরপরেই আমাদেরকে একটা হোটেল নিতে হবে। সেন্টমার্টিনস এ অনেক হোটেল এবং রিসোর্ট আছে। তবে ভাল হয় বিচের কাছাকাছি হোটেল নিলে। সেক্ষেত্রে CTB resort নামে একটি রিসোর্ট আছে। বিচের একদম কাছেই। খুব ই মানসম্পন্ন, সিকিউরিটি লেভেল ভাল, খোলা উঠোন, বারবিকিউ প্লেস, দোলনা সব ই আছে।  এখানে সব গুলই ডাবল রুম। প্রতিটি রুমের ভাড়া ১২০০ থেকে ২০০০ হাজার টাকা প্রতি রাত (ডাবল বেড দুইটা)। এটা সম্পূর্ন নির্ভর করে সিজন এবং আমাদের দর কষাকষির উপরে। যেমন ডিসেম্বর কিংবা জানুয়ারিতে গেলে ভাড়া বেশি পড়বে। আবার ফেব্রুয়ারিতে গেলে সেটা কমে আসবে। আমরা এখানে বেশিটাই হিসেব করবো। কমে পেলে তো ভালই। তবে এর থেকে অনেক কম খরচের হোটেলও আছে। এটা শুধুমাত্র একটা উদাহরন। আমরা আমাদের সুবিধামত নিয়ে নিতে পারবো।

তো সেদিন হোটেলে উঠে ফ্রেশ হয়ে খেয়ে নিবো। খাবার কি খাওয়া যায়? 

সেক্ষেত্রে এই রিসোর্টেই প্লেটার আছে। 

যেমনঃ  ভাত ও ডাল আনলিমিটেড + সবজি + ভর্তা + যে কোন এক প্রকার সামুদ্রিক মাছ।

খরচ ১৫০ টাকা। আমরা চাইলে বাইরে থেকেও খাবার খেয়ে নিতে পারি নিজেদের রুচি অনুযায়ী। 

খাওয়াদাওয়া করে সেদিন সমুদ্রে গোসল করে ঘুরে ফিরে সময় কেটে যাবে। রাতের বেলা ভারি খাবারের থেকে হালকা খাবার খাওয়াই সব থেকে ভাল। সেক্ষেত্রে খরচ ৮০ টাকা থেকে ১০০ টাকা আসতে পারে। এটা যার যার উপরে নির্ভর করে। উল্লেখ্য সকালের নাস্তা ডিম পরোটা ভাজি ইত্যাদি খেলে বিল ৭০-৮০ টাকা আসতে পারে।

পরেরদিন সকালে রওনা হওয়া যায় ছেড়াদ্বীপের উদ্দ্যেশ্যে। সেখানে যাওয়ার জন্য লাইফবোট আছে। গ্রুপের সদস্য সংখ্যা ১০ জন+ হলে একটা পুরো লাইফবোট ভাড়া নিয়ে যাওয়াটা বেষ্ট। তাহলে বেশি মজা মাস্তি। ভাড়া জনপ্রতি আপ ডাউন ৩০০ টাকার মত হবে।

আরেকটা বিষয় হলো, সেন্টমার্টিনস যেয়ে সামুদ্রিক মাছের বারবিকিউ খাবো না এটা হতে পারেনা। সেক্ষেত্রে আমরা CTB রিসোর্টের সামনে খোলা যায়গাতেই বারবিকিউ করতে পারি। ওদের ওখানে বারবিকিউ প্যাকেজ আছে। আবার চাইলে নিজেরাও পছন্দ মত মাছ কিনে বারবিকিউ করা যায়। বারবিকিউ + রুটি/পরোটা, খরচ আসবে আনুমানিক ২৫০ টাকা প্রতিজন।

বিচ ঘোরার জন্য সাইকেল ভাড়া পাওয়া যায়। ঘন্টা প্রতি ৪০ টাকা। সবাই মিলে সাইকেল নিয়ে বিচে ঘোরার আনন্দ ভাষায় প্রকাশ করার মত হবে না নিশ্চই।

এভাবে দুই রাত সেন্টমার্টিন কাটানোর পরে ৩য় দিন হোটেল ছেড়ে দিয়ে বিকেলের জাহাজে টেকনাফ। তারপরে টেকনাফ থেকে ঢাকা।

আনুমানিক খরচের বিস্তারিত বর্ননাঃ (সর্বোচ্চটা হিসেব করে। সিজন অনুযায়ী খরচ আরো কম হতে পারে)  

১. যাওয়া আসা বাস ভাড়া ৯০০+৯০০ = ১৮০০

২. জাহাজ ভাড়া আপ-ডাউন = ৭৫০

৩. দুই রাত হোটেল ভাড়া = ৫০০+৫০০ = ১০০০ ( এটা সর্বোচ্চ। একরুমে যদি ৪ জন করে থাকি এবং ভাড়া ২০০০ করে হয়)

৪. ৩ দিনের সকালের নাস্তা = ৮০+৮০+৮০ = ২৪০

৫. ৩ দিনের দুপুরের খাবার = ১৫০+১৫০+১৫০ = ৪৫০

৬. ৩ দিনের রাতের খাবার + বারবিকিউ = ১০০+২৫০+১০০ = ৪৫০ (যদি রাতে হালকা খাবার খাই।       কেউ বেশি খেলে সেটা ব্যক্তিগত খরচ)

৭. ছেড়াদ্বীপ ভাড়া আপ-ডাউন = ৩০০

৮. দুইদিন যদি সাইকেল ভাড়া নেই এক ঘন্টা করে = ৪০+৪০ = ৮০

তাহলে সর্বমোট খরচ দাড়ালোঃ ৫,০৭০ টাকা 

এটা হলো ট্যুরের নেট খরচ। সিজন অনুযায়ী এটা আরও কম হতে পারে। এখন আনুষাংগিক এবং ব্যক্তিগত ব্যয় আলাদা। যেমন মোবাইল রিচার্জ, নিজের এবং পরিবারের জন্য কেনাকাটা করা, বিকেলের হালকা নাস্তা, ডাব কিনে খাওয়া, বিচে টায়ার/বিছানা ভাড়া নেয়া আবার যদি চাই আমরা সবাই একদিন শুধুমাত্র সামুদ্রিক মাছ দিয়ে গ্রান্ড লাঞ্চ/ডিনার করতে পারি। সেক্ষেত্রে খরচের হালকা এদিক সেদিক হতে পারে। খুব বেশি পরিবর্তন আসবে না। আমি রিকমেন্ড করবো অন্তত ৬০০০ টাকা সাথে নিতে। তাহলে বেশ ভালভাবেই কাভার করা যাবে আশা করি। 

[বিঃ দ্রঃ এটা শুধুমাত্র বন্ধুমহল - একত্রে ন্যুনতম ৮ জন নিয়ে ভ্রমনের পরিকল্পনা ও খরচের আনুমানিক হিসাব। পরিবার নিয়ে যেতে চাইলে সেটা সম্পূর্ন আলাদা বিষয়, আলাদা পরিকল্পনা ও আলাদা খরচ]

কখন যাওয়া উচিত সেন্টমার্টিনসঃ ডিসেম্বর এবং জানুয়ারিতে উপচে পড়া ভিড়। সমস্ত হোটেল এবং রিসোর্টে ভাড়া অনেক বেশি। সেই সাথে মানুষের গ্যাদারিং হওয়াতে খুব বেশি উপভোগ্য হবে না। সব থেকে ভাল হয় ফেব্রুয়ারির ১ - ১০ তারিখের মধ্যে গেলে। তখন পুর্নিমা থাকবে। পুর্নিমা ছাড়া সেন্টমার্টিনস লবনহীন তরকারি মনে হতে পারে। আর তখন শীত টাও কমে আসবে, মানুষের ভিড় ও কমে যাবে। সব মিলিয়ে বেশ উপভোগ্য হবে। 

আশা করি উপরের বিষয়গুলো একটু হলেও কাজে আসবে। সকলকে ধন্যবাদ কষ্ট করে পড়ার জন্য। দারুচিনি দ্বীপ ভ্রমনের অপেক্ষায় রইলাম......

Why So Silent on Bangladesh U19??

   

We are cricket loving nation. We all the time cheer for our national heroes. That's good. But why we are so silent when we have a tremendous U19 cricket team??


Well, Bangladesh U19 team is really strong. Stronger than many other teams. They have emerging and very potential players. Recently they have beaten the South Africans (Current U19 WC Champion) in their own field by 4-1! Not only that, our junior tigers continued it in the ICC U19 WC 2016 in Bangladesh.

They are willing to go to the Final! Even, eyes on the Trophy!!
We just can't simply imagine that!!

Their performances, consistency, body language and professional mentality is really charming.

We really should support them. They really need that.  

Besides cheering for the National Team, we have to cheer for our young tigers. Because, they are our future National Team! 

Our Jocular Education System!

Well, this is realy jocular. We all know that. I dont like to use many more words for this topic!
Just one thing i would like to remind people,

"Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid!"

Thats why we are lacking behind. Specially we the Bangladeshis. 80% of the school and college level students are thinking that they are useless, they are featherbrained! Even I did this too!!

But alas! The authority and their jocular education system is unable to find out a nation's talents.....

React!

Well, this is a very dangerous word to me! Personally I believe, this is one of our worst enemies......

Sometimes, we cant control our nerves. And we react. But eventually, after that, we the people understand, what we lost for that word "react" !

There are many people around us. They have different thoughts and choices. Some are good and some are bad. Any people can do or say anything that you cant bear or cant take.

So I think, You can't change how people treat you or what they say about you. All you can do is change how you react to it.........

If you cant change that, at the end of the day u will have to suffer..... 

We must remember, life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react! 

Whatever happens... if your react is in under control, you will be re-awarded but if your react is not in under control  then you have to pay for it..... 

I believe nobody of us forget that, "To every action there is always an equal & opposite reaction" !!!
